About

Research meets practice.

Vasundhara Sen brings nineteen years of work across energy analytics, teaching, research and regulation.

2006—2014

Forecast. Analyse. Build.

She began at Genpact, forecasting demand for GE Energy. At Suzlon, she analysed tariffs, renewable-energy certificates and wind forecasting. The work set her enduring question: how does regulation change what gets built?

2014—2023

Teach. Research. Test.

At SCMHRD, she taught economics, energy economics and renewable-energy policy. She completed a PhD in Energy Economics and researched how consumers understand, value and pay for clean power.

She also worked with WRI, CEEW and DevInsights on renewable procurement, energy transitions and solar-project evaluation.
